Our style is super informal and relaxed, so don't worry if you're camera shy. All you need to focus on is simply enjoying yourself. Our job is to melt into the background and capture your day for what it really is: beautiful and natural.
Wedding photography is all about telling the story of the day. We offer a friendly and chilled-out approach to capturing all the big moments and the smallest of details. As you can see from some of my favourite shots here (wedding gallery). Most of what I do is grabbing little snippets here and there as the day unfolds. These candid shots really capture the magic of your wedding day.
Many couples opt for posed shots too, so I always ensure these portraits feel natural and fun. I keep these shots nice and short too. It’s no fun being stood for hours on end posing for formal photographs. Guests are otherwise left with high heels sinking into the grass, restless children and feeling desperate to escape for a glass of champagne. I know all too well that there is no point wasting precious time in your day trying to organise one hundred or so people into organised groups, when instead I could be capturing all the important things – like grandma sneaking an extra glass of fizz, the kids already unbuttoning their waistcoats and groups of friends laughing and giggling together in the sunshine. This is why I keep posed shots to a minimum and organise the list of ‘must-have shots’ well in advance.
Your wedding is one of the most important days of your life and we want to capture the relationships, the interactions and the individual touches that make it a joy to be a part of. I love having the opportunity to work as an extra pair of eyes for the day and capture all the special moments that the busy bride and groom would otherwise miss. We also offer videography too as an extra element to help relive your day. Check out our pricing page for options.
Sometimes I think that we forget, in this age of Insta-stories, selfies and social media, that photography isn't just about instant gratification it is about memories too. Family photographs only get more important as time passes. When I look at my favourite pictures from my childhood, they're the photos that show the daft everyday moments we experience at home. So from a newborn shoot in your home to a fun family shoot outdoors – wherever you spend your time, you can choose a situation that is most natural and relevant to your family and lifestyle.
So, with our informal family photography, there are no stark white studios. I come to your home (or chosen location), how it is right now. And create photos to love now, and photos to love in ways you can't fully appreciate yet in five, ten, twenty years onwards. My approach to family photography is laid back and natural, so that I capture real moments as they happen.
Some people like to use our photography sessions to celebrate an engagement, or to capture the exciting build-up to their wedding. Some just want to have a collection of lovely photographs together. I love photographing couples at all stages in relationships, so whether you've been together five minutes or forever and fancy having a bit of a laugh then this is the shoot for you.
As a restaurant owner, you want to show off your beautiful dishes and the atmosphere of your dining space, either through your website or social media channels. This is where professional photographs can come in handy. Book a two-hour session and we can get through as much as you like. Photographs of the venue, finished dishes, colourful drinks – even action shots in the kitchen or the bar.
Some businesses decide to organise a quarterly shoot around a new summer or winter menu, creating plenty of social media content for the upcoming season. You may prefer a one-off session at the start or end of the year, towards Christmas or another popular time for your business. Whatever works most for you, I can arrange a bespoke package. We can also offer a combined photography & videography session too... get in touch and we can give you all the info.
I have been dancing since I was four years old and have a real passion for tap and Salsa. Because I understand the art of dance, I know exactly how to freeze beautiful poses and capture the shapes we create with our bodies as we move.
Since 2010, I have combined my love of dance with photography. I have worked with dancers on many levels, who may want to create a portfolio of their work, or show a progression of their talents.
I have also been practising yoga since 2016 and find that many skills I use to capture dance, also relate to yoga. Perhaps you run a yoga class and want to create some creative shots for your website, or would like to show a breakdown of poses for your students. Whatever your requirements, I can capture the moments you want to share.
